- the appointment is about 60 minutes to an 1 1/2 hours
- a consultation fee is charged
What to bring for your evaluation and measurements for compression wear?
- your doctors prescription if you would like to claim from your medical aid
- your ID and medical aid card
- the appointment is about 45 minutes to an hour
- a consultation fee is charged
- appointments are only scheduled before 10h00 in the morning to insure most accurate measurements
What to bring for your prosthetics appointment?
- your doctors prescription if you would like to claim from your medical aid
- your ID and medical aid card
- all xrays and surgery information
- the appointment is about an hour to 1 1/2 hours
- an initial consultation fee is charged
- there will be follow up appointments for fitments, scanning, adjustments which are free of charge
What to bring for your custom orthotics and bracing appointment?
- For any custom orthotics like AFOs, cranial helmets, scoliosis braces, etc:
- your doctors prescription if you would like to claim from your medical aid
- your ID and medical aid card
- x rays or medical reports
- the appointment is about an hour to 1 1/2 hours
- an initial consultation fee is charged
- there will be follow up appointments for fitments, scanning, adjustments which are free of charge
What to bring for any off-the-shelf-items appointment?
- For off the shelf items like moonboots, armslings, back braces, crutches, knee braces or any mobility aids, an scheduled appointment is not neccessary and walk-in patients are welcome

- your ID and medical aid card
- the appointment is anything between 30min to an hour
- a consultation/fitment fee is charged depending on what fitment needs to be done.
- For crutches only no fees are charged

• Medical aid / insurance card + ID
• List of current medication
What to Wear / Bring
• Comfortable clothing that allows movement
• Clothing that exposes the problem area (shorts, loose shirt, sports bra, etc.)
• Hair tie if you have long hair
Shoes & Aids
• Shoes you normally walk or exercise in
• Any braces, supports, orthotics or splints
• Crutches, walker or other mobility aids (if used)

What to bring for your biokinetics appointment?
• Doctor or physiotherapist referral (if you have one)
• X-rays / MRI / scan reports (if relevant)
• Previous rehab or medical reports
• Medical aid / insurance card + ID
• List of current medication or chronic conditions
What to Wear
Biokinetics sessions involve exercise and movement, so dress like you’re going to the gym:
• Comfortable training clothes
• T-shirt or sports top
• Shorts or leggings
• Sports bra (if applicable)
Shoes & Equipment
• Comfortable closed training shoes/sneakers
• Any braces, supports, orthotics or insoles you use
• Smart watch or fitness tracker (optional)
• Water bottle
• Small towel
• Snack for after training (if needed)
Before You Arrive, Think About:
• Your current activity level
• Your fitness or rehab goals (pain reduction, strength, weight loss, return to sport, etc.)
• Any movements or exercises that cause pain or discomfort
