Meet Our Team
Tiaan Kilian
As the owner and Senior Medical Orthotist & Prosthetist, Tiaan has been practising since 2010. In 2019, he opened Kilian Orthopaedic Services, a growing practice that represents his heart and soul. In 2022, he acquired a second practice, Advance Orthopaedics Namibia, and in 2026 he is merging both to realise his lifelong vision.
Tiaan is a firm believer in integrated healthcare, and this rehabilitation-focused practice brings that vision to life by combining orthopaedics and rehabilitation in a coordinated, patient-centred environment. His dedication extends beyond orthotics and prosthetics, encompassing the prevention and treatment of various injuries and disorders. With expertise in Myo-Electric Prostheses, he actively integrates the latest technologies into his practice and continuously updates his skills through advanced international courses, ensuring care meets the highest standards.
In 2025, Tiaan founded the Namibian Orthotics & Prosthetics Association, the first of its kind in the country, and he currently serves on the board of NHPCNA for Medical Orthotics & Prosthetics, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the profession nationally.
Ez-Jay Isaacs
Ez-Jay Isaacs is the lead Physiotherapist at Advance Orthopaedics Namibia. He is passionate about the intersection of sport and rehabilitation, with a strong commitment to helping patients regain their desired level of function and return to the activities they love. He holds his qualification from UNAM and brings four years of extensive clinical experience to the team. With a special interest in Sports, Orthopaedic, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Ez-Jay focuses on empowering patients to achieve peak physical health, maintain functional independence, and safely return to their daily activities and hobbies. His patient-centred approach ensures that each rehabilitation programme is tailored to support long-term recovery and performance.
Keanan van Wyk
Keanan Van Wyk has a genuine passion for orthopaedic rehabilitation and high -performance sport. Having always loved sport in all its forms, he brings that same energy into his work—helping individuals recover from injury, improve movement, and perform with confidence. He holds a BSc in Sport Science from the University of Pretoria, completed his BSc Biokinetics Honours at Stellenbosch University, and went on to complete a one-year Biokinetics internship at Stellenbosch University, building a strong academic and practical foundation in rehabilitation and performance. His approach is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to each patient, with a strong focus on long-term results and sustainable performance. Keanan lives by the guiding principle of Joshua 1:9, which reflects his positive and encouraging approach to patient care.
Luandra Beukes
As the medical assistant, Luandra manages all off-the-shelf items, ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate product tailored to their needs. From fitting moon boots and back braces to carefully measuring and evaluating for compression stockings, Luandra takes the time to ensure that every item fits perfectly and comfortably. Her personalised approach not only helps patients feel at ease but also ensures that they receive the most effective support for their recovery and well-being.
Lee Louw
Lee Louw, the medical assistant at Advance Orthopaedics Namibia, expertly manages all off-the-shelf orthopaedic items to ensure each patient receives the correct sizing and fitment. Known for his friendly, well-mannered, and soft- spoken demeanor, Lee guides patients through each step, providing essential advice on the dos and don’ts for their devices. His careful approach and attention to detail make every patient feel supported and confident in their care.
Sylvester Horaeb
Sylvester serves as our dedicated lab assistant, efficiently handling tasks such as skiving insoles and gluing built-up shoes to ensure smooth and continuous production in the lab. His enthusiasm and attention to detail also extend to maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the entire practice.
Tivoline Coetzee
Tivoline has been part of Advance Orthopaedics Namibia since 2022 and has become a true cornerstone of the practice. Known for her warm, friendly nature and constant kindness, she ensures that every patient interaction is handled with professionalism and care. Even in challenging situations, Tivoline manages each encounter with grace while maintaining a calm and respectful presence. She is responsible for billing and medical aid authorisations, one of the most complex and detail-driven roles within the practice, working with more than 2,000 procedural codes. Her dedication, reliability, and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of the team.
Eve Pofadder
Eve Pofadder plays a key role in keeping the practice organised and running efficiently. As Practice Manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures that everything behind the scenes comes together smoothly. She is also responsible for medical aid claims, managing the process with accuracy and attention to detail so that patients experience a seamless administrative journey. Her dedication and structured approach help create a well-managed and supportive environment for both patients and the team.
Tuicky Hangula
Tuicky Hangula manages our patient account collections, ensuring that communication around accounts is handled professionally and respectfully. Fluent in seven languages, she is well equipped to assist a diverse range of patients and communicates confidently over the phone. She is friendly and respectful in every interaction.
Monique de Waal
Monique is a vibrant and outgoing professional who brings energy, confidence, and a warm presence to every interaction. With a talkative nature and bold personality, she connects easily with people and leaves a lasting impression. As the first point of contact at Advance Orthopaedics Namibia, Monique creates a welcoming and professional environment for every client, combining her natural people skills with a strong, approachable character to ensure everyone feels valued and well cared for.
Sonja Kilian
Wife of Tiaan and mother to their beautiful little girl, she has been part of Tiaan’s journey from the very beginning, supporting his vision and dedication every step of the way. With over 10 years of experience as a business manager, she now oversees the financial operations of the practice as Financial Manager and Bookkeeper, ensuring that all behind-the-scenes processes run smoothly. She makes certain that month-end reporting is accurate, all bills are paid on time, and finances are properly recorded,
Petrina Gases
Petrina is the gentle and soft-spoken team member who keeps our practice clean and welcoming. She ensures that all areas are spotless and that, at the end of each day, all cups and essentials are clean and ready for the next day. Her quiet dedication and careful attention make a noticeable difference, creating a hygienic and comfortable environment for both patients and staff.
